About Me

Hi, I’m Eamon. I'm a qualified English teacher with over eight years of teaching experience, both in the classroom and online. I’ve taught everything from high school to VCE to adult learners, online and in-person. What I love most is helping students build confidence in their voice, whether they’re preparing for assessments or just trying to express themselves more clearly.
→ Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy & Literature)
→ Honours (Writing)
→ Master's of Teaching (Secondary)
I also write fiction and I’m currently learning French, so I know what it’s like to be a learner and how powerful the right kind of support can be.

Testimonials

"Eamon has been an incredible English tutor for my daughter R., who is currently in Year 10 and was struggling with analytical writing. He is an extremely patient and encouraging teacher who takes the time to guide her step by step and build her confidence. What impressed us most is how Eamon inspires students to think critically and express their ideas more clearly in writing. Through his support and teaching, my daughter has gradually developed stronger analytical writing skills and feels much more confident in English writing. We truly appreciate Eamon’s dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude, and we would highly recommend him to any student needing help with English and analytical writing." - A

"Since starting, my marks have definitely improved. I’ve also noticed a big difference in my ability to write in a tight but thorough way. Inkwell showed me exactly how to cut out unnecessary fluff while still keeping my essays detailed and high-quality. I would absolutely recommend Inkwell Tutoring to other students who want to boost their marks and become more confident writers." - C

"I have found that my ability to analyse in general has improved drastically, as I have gotten better at providing close analysis. The structure and vocabulary that I find myself using has also reached a standard that I previously deemed unattainable. Since I started, I have gone from an 80s to a 90s student, so I couldn't recommend Eamon more." - J
